Relativity states that identity exists only in relation to another observing identity. This is the bridge from the single-identity geometry (Time, Mass, Curvature, Rotation) to the interactive field.
Measurement and recognition are not afterthoughts. Continuity is observed through change, especially when AI can copy states and mirror surfaces. What remains is the differential history as seen (and contested) between observers.
- Observer-dependence: how our stem is read depends on the other’s frame (their mass, curvature, vision).
- Mutual definition: relationships co-produce identity geometry. Isolation is an idealization, not the default ontology.
- AI-era stress test: when copies are cheap, the question “same as whom, for whom, under what observation?” becomes central.
Engineering work: Design for legible differentials under observation. Make the State Differential transparent enough that another identity (human or artificial) can track sameness-as-trajectory without freezing us into a copyable snapshot.
